When I arrived at SquareTrade, there was no tracking or management of marketing spends. I developed a new process to track all spends, provide transparency throughout the organization, assist in marketing planning, and ultimately keep us from over or under-spending on our contractual budgets.
Responsibilities included:
Developing new coding standards
Developing a new PO Process
Reviewing and updating current year spends
Implementing a new process to ensure all steps are followed correctly
